Evidence from neuroimaging studies shows that acupuncture appears to have effects on brain activity. For example, points associated with hearing and vision stimulates the visual and auditory cerebral areas of the brain respectively.

The students at Stanchester were caught on camera by the BBC Newsround Team!
It was reported that:
Stanchester Community School is using the ancient Chinese therapy to help calm students in the classroom.
Acupuncture involves putting needles into particular parts of the body which is thought to release positive energy.
Heather Rabone, a teacher at the school, having spent time in China, suggested it. Seven children were receiving the treatment and there was even a waiting list!
In an interview, head teacher Glynn Ottery said: "We've had an enormously positive response from parents who are happy for their children to be involved in this."
One student felt it had had a good effect on her, saying: "I don't throw things much anymore but I used to."

“Heather has treated my back pain at various times for the last couple of years and now the pain returns only intermittently and is easily treated”
